Most Minnesotans agree, summer takes a long time to arrive and its stay is fleeting. The climate can vary wildly from year to year, but here’s a question on the amount of rain that falls in the metro area.
On average, which month produces the most amount of rainfall?
ANSWER: It’s a tie!
June and August, each of which sees an average of 4.3″ during the month.
Those April showers only amount to 2.7″. And May may have the highest number of rainfall days (11.5), but only about 3.4″ of rainfall.
